We had a great turnout yesterday! Stakeholders from across the Columbia community joined us for an afternoon of reviewing proposals for the Clary-Shy Agricultural Park. CCUA and Melissa from Harold’s provided delectable appetizers made of fresh, local ingredients. Four student teams presented in-progress design proposals for community feedback — and now we are swimming in feedback thanks to everyone who attended and shared their unique points of view. Farmers told us about their challenges, consumers told us about their experiences and dreams — and we talked about everything from fire truck lanes, to unintentional bird habitat in structure rafters, to edible landscaping in parking lots.
Way to go, Studio II!
